How does the game check my guesses?

Guesses are compared against the level answers. The comparison is case-insensitive and ignores accents (for example, "CAFÉ" and "CAFE" are treated the same).

Why are some keys disabled on the keyboard?

To reduce trial-and-error, the keyboard only enables letters and special characters that appear in the remaining (unguessed) answers for the current level.

What does the hint button do?

Hints reveal one letter that appears in at least one remaining answer. The letter will show up wherever it appears on the board.

Is my progress saved if I close the page?

Yes. Progress is saved in your browser storage. If you log in with Google, some progress is also saved to your account.
